Android Chrome + ARCore over HTTPS. Place a flat square of known side length on a textured floor. Enter its side length in millimeters when AR starts, then aim the center reticle at three consecutive floor corners and tap in perimeter order. Adjacent sides should be equal and meet at a right angle; the fourth corner is derived, not tapped. The square establishes scale and origin; ARCore tracks the phone after it leaves view. Colored axes extend 50 m in each direction, with marks every 10 cm; the 10 cm floor grid continues without limit, drawn as a 50 m x 50 m window around you. The trace keeps every sample; when 3,000 are drawn it is thinned to 2,000 evenly spread ones, then grows again. After calibration, tap anywhere (the center circle is the pointer): the actions menu offers Add point (or the actions for a point or object under the circle), then tap again from a spot at least 15 cm away to triangulate. Everything else is under Menu (Virtual points, World, Features, View, Data). Free-space points are triangulated with two views each, with no limit on their number. Distance joins two points; Plane shows a 100 mm grid through three points. From the fourth point on, each point can be projected onto the plane of the first three with one ray, or placed freely with a second view (the series then stays in free space). Every section is labelled section / up to here / total; a series on the plane can be closed into a loop (Close loop on point 1), which is outlined, filled and shows its area. Clear points or recalibration removes the points and measured geometry; physical AR accuracy requires device testing.
